Sam Kelly is an Award Winning, UK qualified, investment manager and financial planner working with clients both in Spain and Worldwide. Having been introduced to the World of finance by his grandmother, a successful property and stocks investor, Sam made his first investment in his teens. Trading prolifically throughout his 20s, whilst studying both fundamental and technical trading, Sam’s financial expertise and experience spans over 20 years in the markets.
Now recognised amongst Europe’s leading financial advisers, Sam has sat on dozens of expert panels, including with the British Consulate, and major financial institutions, offering his insight into investment management and financial planning in Spain.
Sam offers specialist financial and tax planning for Expats in Spain, through clear, easy to understand advice. Working with partners including expert lawyers and accountants, Sam’s clients benefit from a holistic financial planning service.
Sam provides regular market commentaries and articles of interest to the expat community through local newspapers, magazines and the Chorus Financial Blog, along with running regular seminars in the local area which educate expats on all essential areas of their financial life in Spain.
Sam has been very vocal over the years with regards the high-priced, low quality recommendations he has seen used as the mainstay for the majority of Spanish based financial advisories over the decades. Promising full fee transparency, and 100% independence when it comes to investment proposals has allowed his clients to outperform the markets year after year.
Sam is a current member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, The Personal Finance Society and the European Financial Planning Association. Sam holds the UK Level 4 Qualification ‘Diploma In Regulated Financial Planning’ and is a certified European Financial Advisor under the EFPA. Sam keeps up to date with both Spanish and UK financial regulation through regular exams and ongoing professional development in accordance with regulatory requirements.
